The architectural studio dallera bonforte, founded in Pavia by Marina Dallera and Liliana Bonforte, created an interior design project for a creative couple who love photography and design, passions that have been an inspiration throughout its development.
The flat is located in Milan, in the Porta Nuova/Paolo Sarpi area and is situated on the sixth floor, from which one can enjoy a surprising interior view.
In the foreground, in fact, the view reveals the shed roof of the ATM depot and in the background the Velasca Tower and the Duomo, framed by a horizontally cut-glass window, like a cinemascope image, that runs through the entire living area.
The design contrasts this monochromatic image of Milan, almost a black and white photograph, with the use of colour: Prussian blue, plum, ochre, these are the shades chosen for the walls and the volumes of the furnishings.
All the furniture is custom-designed, enriched by the two owners’ private collection of art photographs.
