There is still time until the next 20 December to participate in “Best International Houses Design. A very interesting initiative that will bring 100 architectural firms from around the world with their best residential projects in Venice during the 17th Biennale of Architecture from May to November 2020.
“Best International Houses Design” is an English-language publication that will bring together the best projects of single-family homes made by architects from around the world. The selected projects will be included in a VOLUME and an EXHIBITION that will be set up at Scuola Grande di Ns Signoira Misericordia in Venice during the Architecture Biennale 2020.
The volume will be presented during the official opening of the exhibition on 23 May 2020, in conjunction with the official opening of the Biennale. The exhibition will run for three months from 23 May to 23 August 2020 and is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors. All the authors of the selected projects will also be invited to hold lectures as part of a programme that will be developed over the three months of exhibition at the Biennale.
The Venice Biennale of Architecture represents a unique and extraordinary stage at world level and the inauguration and permanence of an exhibition for the first three months of this event represents an extraordinary opportunity in terms of visibility and communication of one’s work
To participate you must apply for one or more projects, carried out in the period from January 2016 to March 2020. The call is free and will be open until 20 December 2019. A jury will select a maximum of 120 projects from all the applications.
