After the digital event interzum@home 2021, in 2023 interzum – a major international event in the furniture subcontracting industry – returns to the halls of Koelnmesse, ready to welcome an audience of trade visitors from all over the world.
More than 1,400 exhibitors from around 60 countries are expected at interzum 2023. In addition to the market-leading companies, there will be many small companies that are genuine breeding grounds for new ideas.
The wide range of products makes interzum an ideal trade fair for the search not only for new materials, but also for the most innovative coverings and production processes, to discover trends and solutions for designing the living spaces of the future. Therefore, themes such as environmental friendliness, sustainability, upcycling and the growing importance of living will play a prominent role.
Under the leitmotif ‘Neo-ecology‘, interzum 2023 will focus in particular on environmental friendliness, climate change and long-term projects, in order to pursue a joint dialogue that produces new solutions with an increasingly sustainable perspective.
Thematically, interzum will again this year be divided into the three established areas: Function & Components, Materials & Nature and Textile & Machinery. “We have reorganised the various areas more rationally, so that visitors need less time to go from one hall to the next. In addition, for the first time, the new Hall 1 will also host the Materials & Nature area, and many large companies, including some that were previously present in Hall 6“, says Maik Fischer, Director of interzum.
The programme of events at interzum 2023 will be based on the claim ‘Shaping the change’, and the leitmotif ‘Neo-ecology’.
With the Product Stage and the interzum Trend Stage, interzum offers further opportunities for exhibitor and product presentations as well as for addressing market and design topics of the future.
