Alu+ is the new sustainable shower system from Ideal Standard. This new collection stands out for its modern colour palette, practical functionality and outstanding sustainability features. With this line, Ideal Standard offers an ideal solution for those who want a product with a sophisticated design and cutting-edge technology.
In aesthetic terms, the new Alu+ shower systems feature elegant rectangular lines perfectly accentuated by the circular mixer, shower head and hand shower. The contemporary design is further enhanced by a choice of three glossy metallic finishes: Silk Black, Rosé and Silver, offering customers the chance to play with colour in a new and exciting way.
Fundamental in the realisation of Alu+ are research and sustainability in terms of materials and manufacturing processes: the shower system is in fact made of high quality recyclable aluminium, and the collection is composed of 84% recycled materials. Completely free of chrome, lead and nickel, Alu+ also features water-saving technology, which is integrated throughout the range: flow regulators limit consumption to just 8 l/min for the hand shower and 12 l/min for the rain shower without compromising performance.
All plastic parts of Alu+ are made from high-performance polymers that comply with drinking water regulations, ensuring that water is never contaminated with harmful plastics. Ideal Standard is adopting sustainability-conscious solutions throughout the Alu+ product life cycle, using fully recyclable packaging free of single-use plastic.
Practicality is a central element of the line, and Alu+ includes matching shelves and beauty bars, with mirrors and shelves of various sizes available in the same three colours.
The extra-large hand shower and rain shower head offer the user two different spray modes: a normal rain shower and the luxurious SilkRain mode, which allows the shower column to deliver ultra-fine water droplets for a premium, spa-like experience. Switching from one mode to the other is made easy with an adjustment lever on the hand shower and Ideal Standard’s EasyDial control knob on the shower head.
Both hand shower and overhead shower are easy to clean and keep limescale-free thanks to the practical EasyClean nozzles. The range consists of shower columns in thermostatic, mechanical, or diverter versions, complete with hand shower and two-way shower head with integrated selector. Also included is a shower bar with a height-adjustable two-function hand shower.
In addition, Ideal Standard’s Singular™ philosophy makes the Alu+ shower system easy to combine with Cerafine O faucets and Idealrain shower accessories in the same colour and style, as well as with Ideal Standard’s broader collections of shower trays and shower enclosures, ceramics and furniture.
