Hotel Indigo® of IHG Intercontinental Hotels Group is the brand chosen for the restyling of Hotel Sant’Elena in Venice, now managed by the HNH Hospitality Group.
The restyling project, developed in collaboration with Architect Manuela Mannino from THDP Studio, combines a lively design rich in details with local particularities and a well-defined identity.
The Hotel Indigo Venice – Sant’Elena has five floors and has been recently renovated offering its guests a space of classic and elegant style, where each detail becomes a key piece of furniture. Warm shades mixed with golden elements make the rooms unique with a refined touch.
The lobby on the ground floor features refined Murano glass lamps and decorations of the reception, which opens towards the restaurant and flows into the garden through large windows. To complete the services offered by the Hotel, a Pompeiana overlooking the internal garden, is an ideal space to host business meetings and private events.
Here the ability of the general contractor Concreta expresses its promptness to response and its modularity of realization in the different hospitality solutions. The new bathrooms are decorated with tiles, inspired by the Venetian Terrazzo technique, whose mix of patterns and colours creates a vibrant and decorative look. The prints recall parks and gardens while glossy black is the typical material of gondolas, for a story made of subtle details that refer to the city ‘Genius Loci’.
The Standard rooms are equipped with a comfortable Queen Size bed, ideal for those looking for essential solutions for a welcoming and comfortable stay in Venice. All very bright, they offer views of the internal garden or the quiet ‘calli’ of the island.
The Superior rooms have various sizes and they all offer magnificent views of the ‘calli’ or the ancient cloister, now transformed into a ‘secret’ garden where you can enjoy the peace and the quiet.

The design of these rooms is inspired by the gondola: the furnishings recall the glossy black of these typical boats, whereas wood is the material of the oar used by the gondoliers. The focal element of the Suite is the velvet headboard that recreates the characteristic style of the gondola chairs.
Bright and elegant, the Duplex Suite over two floors offers true intimacy, to be enjoyed both in the interior spaces and on the romantic private terrace equipped with a chaise longue. 70 square meters flooded with natural light, furnished with taste and a design touch, welcome guests in a spacious living room with a large sofa. Upstairs is the 43 square meters bedroom furnished with a large walk-in closet.
