In the heart of Monte-Carlo, overlooking the famous Place du Casino, the Hôtel de Paris is an exclusive and sophisticated 5-star hotel that represents the excellence of hotel art.
The extraordinary renovation and refurbishment project in the full Monegasque spirit, aims to fully satisfy the increasingly demanding expectations of the luxury hotel clientele, while respecting the tradition of urban palaces. The last step, followed by the Treviso general contractor Mobilproject, included the marble cladding of 81 bathrooms in which about 3 thousand square meters of Carrara statuary marble with continuous vein was used, and the fixed furnishings of rooms and corridors.
Friul Mosaic‘s team of artists created a precious mosaic composition inside the prestigious Hotel de Paris in Montecarlo, 100% made to measure.
Among the materials used, white Carrara marble, white tassos, bardiglietto, bardiglio, black marquina. Inside there are also some 24k Venetian gold tiles to enrich the composition with light and reflections.
The design is an Art Nouveau style decoration that recurs inside the hotel’s common areas, as can be seen from the decorated stained-glass window overlooking the hotel lobby.
120 square meters of work have been installed, mainly in some corridors of the hotel’s common areas.
It took about 4000 hours of gluing and almost 200 hours of laying to complete a work that is a real eulogy to beauty – concludes Barbara Bertoia, co-owner of Friul Mosaic.
