Rome, 31 October 2024 – Platform Real Estate, an event conceived and organised by Platform Network, closed its doors with a more than positive balance, registering over 400 attendees during the two days of meetings and debates at MAXXI – National Museum of XXI Century Arts. It was a unique occasion that brought together the main protagonists of the Italian real estate sector, who explored the latest trends, innovations and challenges in real estate and urban regeneration in a packed programme.
With more than 70 keynote speakers, including developers, representatives of public and private institutions, architects, urban planners, academics and innovators, Platform Real Estate Rome represented an unprecedented moment of discussion and exchange on the Italian scene. Ten round tables, coordinated with professionalism and expertise by Paola Pierotti of PPAN, covered a wide range of topical issues: from sustainable urban regeneration and current regulations to real estate management and the implementation of ESG criteria.
‘The satisfaction with the topics discussed and the insights gained from the contributions of our speakers is enormous,’ said Simona Finessi, CEO of Platform Network. ‘The high level of participation and the enthusiasm we perceived confirm the importance of moments of debate like this, which highlight the crucial role of the real estate sector in the transformation of our cities and in improving the quality of urban life.’
Special thanks go to the Advisory Board, the Scientific Committee, and all those who contributed to the success of the event. In particular, Platform Network would like to thank Paola Pierotti of PPAN, who skilfully guided the discussions, stimulating a constructive dialogue between the speakers and offering the audience valuable insights into such complex issues.
Numerous key themes emerged during the two days: urban regeneration, explored in terms of public resources and private funds, highlighted ambitious projects capable of revitalising urban and peripheral contexts; the real estate market revealed new prospects and opportunities, thanks to the growing integration of environmental and social sustainability criteria. Also at the centre of the debate was the transformation of the housing concept and the diversification of asset classes, with a focus on cities such as Rome and Milan, and the challenges in medium-sized urban contexts.
The event, which saw the patronage of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, the Lazio Region and the Municipality of Rome, opened an important window of dialogue with the institutions, strengthening the collaboration between public and private sectors in redefining the future of Italian cities.
Platform Network is already at work for the next edition, scheduled to be held in Rome in 2025, with the aim of continuing to offer the real estate sector a privileged meeting platform and consolidating an increasingly topical and necessary debate.
