GCR Project and Metal Design: new solutions in the service of architecture

GCR Project is Cerdisa Ricchetti Group‘s answer to concretely respond to the operational needs of the architect, interior designer, contractor and all the professional figures involved in the design and construction process of a building in relation to ceramic applications. A technical support capable of assisting the designer in architectural projects in which the high technical and aesthetic value of the ceramic product becomes an integral part of contemporary building systems.

GCR Project was called upon to intervene with the creation of ventilated facades in the restyling project of the Hitachi Energy building in Lodi, one of the most internationally known groups in the power grid sector. The collection chosen for this realization – Metal Design by Cerdisa – offers a new creative vision of metal-effect ceramics and gives the envelope a decidedly contemporary and elegant character in which backlit reflections of the Steel color, proposed by GCR Project for this project, reveal the polishes and mattes of the surface and enhance the refined three-dimensional textures made with T2D technology, developed by Cerdisa Ricchetti Group researchers with the precise aim of embellishing the ceramic material.
GCR Project’s professionals assisted the designer, Architect Guido Siviero in collaboration with Emme.Gi trading s.r.l, in all phases of the project from the preliminary study to sampling, management of production and special processing, and organizational management of the supply and on-site assistance. Finally, Terramilano Engineering managed the installation of the dry-applied facades with visible fixing.

Thanks to the relationship of trust and collaboration created with the entire design team, GCR Project was able to deploy its characteristic dynamic and tailoring approach, which allowed it to share fundamental values such as attention to detail and customization, necessary to create an innovative and contemporary project, suitable for promoting an industrial and engineered product such as ceramics.
