Finstral – one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of windows, front doors and conservatories – with an investment of 20 million euros, confirms its policy of growth with the new production site in Oppeano, in the province of Verona, active in the glassworks and production of windows and doors.
The company, already present with 14 other factories in the area, proudly confirms the employment effect of 60 new employees that, together with the workforce already present, allows Finstral to count on the experience of 190 collaborators.
Following the expansion of the Verona industrial site – in which the glassworks in particular has been implemented – it now covers a total surface area of 23,500 m² and has a production capacity of 3,500 windows per week. The new state-of-the-art machinery increases its competence and efficiency of the industrial processes, making it the most modern and technologically complete in Italy, with a production capacity of 1,500 double-glazed panels per day.
This step forward is part of an ongoing investment plan, which since 2021 has seen more than €10 million invested in technology to modernise production lines in six other company plants, and a new production plant near Zaragoza in Spain will also be inaugurated shortly.
The entire architectural design of the new industrial spaces in Oppeano is designed to reduce energy consumption and the existing photovoltaic system has also been upgraded.
A concrete commitment that has meant that from 2012 to 2022, Finstral’s CO2 emissions will decrease by 77% (for production and processes). The goal is to become CO2 neutral by 2030.
With the investment in Oppeano and its other industrial sites, Finstral confirms its cutting-edge technologies and materials.
