e15 and Kaldewei presented an exclusive collection of bathroom furniture and accessories designed by Stefan Diez at the Fuorisalone in Milan 2024. The collection’s warm, natural surfaces in solid European oak complement Kaldewei’s iconic enamelled titanium steel products offered in a unique colour palette.
The e15-KALDEWEI collection features a stool, a bench, a bath shelf and a towel holder tripod. The series is completed by a soft leather towel bag and band, which can be magnetically attached to the edge of the bathtub.
The collaboration between e15 and Kaldewei stems from their shared values and unique design experience. Kaldewei is a high-end German brand with over 100 years of experience in creating iconic enamelled steel bathroom products. e15 is the furniture brand that is shaping a new German aesthetic. Besides their passion for sustainable materials and products, both brands are united by their collaboration with German designer Stefan Diez.
The Collection was presented at Fuorisalone 2024 in Milan as part of a breathtaking installation entitled ‘Bath[o]philia‘ in the prestigious location of Casa Flash Art in Palazzo Durini. ‘Bath[o]philia’ is a true oasis in the heart of Milan where creativity and well-being come together. The name of the installation refers to the positivist conception of ‘biophilia’ by the German philosopher Erich Fromm. This term is a combination of the Greek words ‘bios‘ (life) and ‘philia‘ (love). Kaldewei combines Fromm’s idea of ‘passionate love for life and all living things’ with his own vision of bathroom design as an ideal refuge for intense moments of harmony, care and aesthetic pleasure, but also as a place to express one’s creativity.
Once again Kaldewei succeeds in providing visitors with an extraordinary setting, thanks to the wonderful location of Casa Flash Art in Palazzo Durini, home of the Italian art magazine Flash Art.
For the “Bath[o]philia” project, Kaldewei collaborated with e15 and the renowned British designer Bethan Laura Wood to create the perfect setting for the most innovative bathroom installations, including the new e15-KALDEWEI collection and the Avocado Dreams line designed by Bethan Laura Wood, which transforms enamelled bathroom elements into true works of art.
