Refin’s ceramics: Rediscover the difference

Refin, an Italian company that has been present on international markets since 1962, gives life to the new 2021 collections created with the aim of dressing every architectural and interior design project with emotions, such as Affrescati, Cortina and River, the protagonists of the Refin stand.

“We at Ceramiche Refin have chosen to be inspired by the perfect imperfection of nature and art, rediscovering the value of Italy’s historical and artistic tradition, the exclusive luxury of craftsmanship and nature in all its power” says Rino Bedogni, Head of Marketing & Communication of the company.

The AFFRESCATI collection offers an evocative and eclectic interpretation of the history and beauty of wall frescoes, a heritage intrinsically linked to Italian culture. A rich artistic tradition that has been projected into the contemporary world by means of intensely textured surfaces, distinguished by slight undulations, signs of spatulaing and an original chromatic stratification that creates sophisticated settings.
The colors Lime, Ochre, Shadow, Lapis and Earth come to life from the traditional tones of the surfaces, which are dusty and lived-in by nature. Each with a powerful expressive force, capable of embellishing surfaces and environments that are different from one another.

With CORTINA, ancestral wisdom and craftsmanship are reinterpreted to unleash a value of authenticity and the exclusivity of everyday luxury.
The collection tells of different essences and various degrees of aging of the wood and is the result of an accurate and meticulous research aimed at discovering the most special staves to offer a completely exclusive product. Perfect for creating warm and cozy interior scenarios, reliving the charm of mountain chalets, with a contemporary and sophisticated design at the same time.
The shades Almond, Honey, Natural and Tobacco also accentuate the natural richness of the wood, recovered from ancient alpine chalets, which inspired the collection.

The RIVER collection, on the other hand, comes from the observation of natural phenomena and in particular the erosive action of water, the original natural element that has always shaped the stones of rivers. Where the stone emerges, the effect remains material and structured, while when it is immersed it is smoothed by the water and softened in contrasts, benefiting from a more delicate and elegant appearance. Its vital energy pervades everyday life, establishing a dialogue between the natural universe and inner reality, in perpetual connection.
River surfaces recall this original effect, creating a dialogue between the natural universe and the inner dimension in a continuous contamination between environments and perceptions, nature and emotions.

“With these three new collections, we once again confirm the intrinsic link for us with craftsmanship, research and the immense Italian cultural heritage, factors that find their maximum stylistic expression in Made in Italy, of which we are proud ambassadors,” stresses Rino Bedogni.
