Ceramica Sant’Agostino: research, innovation and design for a real Home Space

Innovation, aesthetic research, functionality and an ever more concrete commitment to the environment. These are the key words on which Ceramica Sant’Agostino bases the creation, design and manufacture of its products. The direction direction guiding them them is a research process that tends towards a lasting and timeless aesthetic, allowing itself to be inspired by natural and sculptural elements, increasingly sustainable resources and processes, and an innovative use of materials. Ceramica Sant’Agostino’s starting point is always to rethink a pre-existing element in order to integrate it into contemporary spaces: design in nature, design on the surface.

Personality, style, elegance and superior technical qualities are the foundations of this daily and constant work, which the company condenses into the +ART Method: a process of technical and formal research, based on the desire to guarantee beauty to the material, technical efficiency and durability of the surfaces, designed to maintain their appearance intact and unchanged over time. The knowledge honed over the years thus produces an ideal balance between art and craftsmanship : in this way traditional and natural elements can merge at their best in a single product. Renewing and innovating a traditional style by creating something new, like an echo of elements in unprecedented shapes is the same fil rouge that animates the new HOME SPACE project by Ceramica sant’Agostino, an immersive architecture that becomes an experience. A journey through spaces, suggestions and stimuli, discovering textures and surfaces perfectly set in the fascinating environments of a real home space.

The new exhibition concept recreates a real home space in which the collections by Ceramica Sant’Agostino furnish domestic rooms, in a multiplicity of architectural and decorative combinations. The HOME SPACE project was created precisely to experience the collections in everyday reality. Every space becomes an inspiration: it is the environment itself that guides one to imagine the products in the contexts for which they were conceived and created.
