The restyling of a 250 square meter period building, located walking distance from The Boltons, curated by the Annabella Nassetti “A Living Concept’ design studio, focused on designing an aesthetic path connecting and harmoniously integrating 4 stories of the property.
It is characterized by a refined – but not cold – minimalism that enhances the refined Italian materials and furniture that interpret the taste of those who live in the house. The sophisticated architectural details of the soft curved lines and ultra-ergonomic solutions embrace the natural movements of man within the home in a perfect balance between aesthetics, comfort, luxury, and technology.
Light is the key element that inspires and guides the distribution of the rooms on the different levels. The lower ground floor houses a large bespoke kitchen, dining room and guest suite all of which are naturally lit via large structural glass inserts fitted within the floor in the reception room above.
The client’s interest in entertainment and art comes to life in the spacious living room which is equipped with a hidden projector and projector screen, that, when in function, entertains guests in front of a large wall framed by built in niches that accommodate precious sculptures. Built-in wardrobes do not dampen but rather enhance the suspended elements such as the long cantilevered desk which make the walls spaces not only for contemplation but also for work.
The masonry staircase is a structural as well as a decorative element.
The final element of this itinerary is the spacious master bedroom with a large bathroom in dark and gold-colored Bisazza glass stones, with a long top of clear onyx.
