In the landscape of contemporary Italian architecture, the renovation project of 667 apartment in Genoa, designed by AGL Architects, stands out for its refined synthesis of modernity and tradition. The apartment, located in the heart of the city, is housed in a historic building that retains the charm of Genoa’s urban fabric. The designers chose to respect the pre-existing identity, carefully working on the original architectural features such as high ceilings, decorative moldings, and openings that frame views of the city’s sky and sea.
The renovation is based on a reinterpretation of interior spaces to meet the needs of contemporary living. The apartment’s layout has been reorganized around the principle of spatial fluidity, fostering a constant dialogue between the various functional areas while playing with the different heights of the domestic spaces.
