BBB joins Casa Baltera with Marco Piva

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2024, BBB presented its new catalogue in Rome, inaugurating Casa Baltera as the brand’s Roman flagship store and reference point for Central Italy. Protagonist of the presentation event, which took place on 12 June, was the new collection designed by Marco Piva who, in the presence of numerous guests from the press and the design world, illustrated the features inspired by the emotions and style of a historical period, the Renaissance, which precisely in Rome sees some of its greatest artistic and architectural expressions: noble materials, colours and harmonious combinations, revisited in a modern and contemporary key, introducing the essentiality of form in an aesthetic richness that harks back to this historical period, where modern materials outline new forms without denying a timeless style.

A beautiful evening of design and dialogue between indoor and outdoor a new place to show, and touch, BBB’s creations.

Architect Marco Piva, presenting the new BBB catalogue, which also offers outdoor solutions, spoke of how not only design, but also architecture, are in transformation, increasingly interconnected, so that indoor and outdoor spaces must be part of a common design, for a result of excellence.

Outdoor spaces must be experienced as much as possible,” said architect Marco Piva, “and become to all intents and purposes a continuation of those that are indoor spaces. The attention that is paid to an interior design project, from the furnishing of a house rather than public spaces, must also be brought to the outdoors, which previously were not necessarily so designed and organised, and now take on the same value, if not even an added value, compared to the indoors. The objective we set ourselves for BBB, and to which Casa Baltera responds perfectly, was to identify a space and display condition that would allow the products to be visible through atmospheres that would allow their essence to be perceived, inside as well as outside“.

In the renovated spaces of Casa Baltera, in particular the large terrace overlooking Ponte Milvio, the result of the collaboration of Studio Pamik, Studio Urka and Studio Marco Piva, the new proposals blend with the iconic products of the rich BBB catalogue, creating new synergies and decoration ideas for unique and personal environments, always respecting formal elegance, ergonomics and the search for function. Environments that are dressed with design proposals signed by important international planners and designers, which under the revision work of Studio Marco Piva acquire a more contemporary character, overcome the limits of style to become icons of a vision of living in which luxury becomes within everyone’s reach, where design fully responds to the demand for a more intimate and personal style of living.
