With these words, the CEO Andrea Citterio, proclaims the beginning of the union between the companies Penta, which specializes in contemporary design, Castaldi, which offers technical-architectural systems for indoor and outdoor use, and Arredoluce, which reissues the works of great masters such as Gio Ponti, Castiglioni and Angelo Lelii.
The name AURALIS comes from the contraction of the words aurora and borealis, that contain the concept of a new beginning. With these three companies we are able to meet all kinds of lighting needs and identifying this open and multi-expressive system is the payoff Limitless Lighting, with which we communicate the identity of the corporate brand“, continues Andrea Citterio.
Under AURALIS, Penta, Castaldi and Arredoluce remain three independent companies, each with its own identity, market segment and reference manager.
The group is active in the area of Varese and Veneto with the production of outdoor lighting systems, but the retail network is spread over 95 countries, with branches also in Miami, Singapore and London.
The propensity to interpret the needs of users and the strong attitude to innovation, are highlighted by the group’s investments in start-ups active in the field in IoT (Internet of Things) of smart cities and smart buildings. In addition, they have defined a sustainability plan that covers packaging choices, the use of electric vehicles and a gradual transition to the use of renewable sources for the energy supply of its locations.
