AURALIS SPACE

In Milan’s lighting district, the Migliore+Servetto Architects studio transforms the rooms formerly interpreted by Alessandro Mendini in Via San Damiano 2, to enhance the great master’s mark with an impeccable renovation project: AURALIS SPACE, a place dedicated to the Penta, Castaldi and ArredoLuce collections, is thus born.
AURALIS, the first industrial lighting group led by Andrea Citterio, rekindles interest in light, in all its expressive forms, in Milan.
AURALIS SPACE is a unique space, an environment of dialogue, experimentation and sharing in which architects, lighting and interior designers will be able to find the ideal dimension to express their approach to the theme of light.

The store designed by the renowned Migliore+Servetto Architects studio showcases the collections of Penta, specialising in contemporary indoor design, Castaldi that proposes technical-architectural systems for the outdoors, Arredoluce that re-edits the works of great masters such as Gio Ponti, Castiglioni and Angelo Lelii, with the aim of responding to every type of need in the residential and contract, indoor and outdoor fields.

With the renovation project of this space, AURALIS gives back to the city a valuable place where the weave designed by Alessandro Mendini defining the reticular element of the staircase is still visible. This graphic sign with a strong architectural value has been reinterpreted in the typical red of Migliore+Servetto Architects, becoming a new landmark in the city.
