After the success of the first edition, the international contest focusing on contemporary architecture in the Americas returns from 27 to 29 February at the Moore Building in the Miami Design District.
Archmarathon is an event dedicated to the world of design that focuses attention on architecture and interior design of Canada, USA, Central America and Latin America. In 2020 the objective is to identify a selection of 50 works in this geographic region that make people think about the most important relationship in architecture and interior design: that between design and human being. Before being a client, a user or broker, human beings are individuals who use, enjoy and experience the end result of the design and construction process, whether it be aimed at giving shape to a chair, an apartment, a building or a city.
The 50 selected studios will then be invited to present the candidate project in front of the jury and to a large audience of architects, interior designers and developers in Florida.
At the end of the 3 days, which also includes b2b meetings and networking activities for the sponsor companies, the winning projects will be announced on Saturday 29 February.
