A taste for the kitchen

Ideal Standard presents the new Gusto (taste) collection of kitchen mixers, a synthesis of elegant, contemporary design that stands out but complements, combined with intelligent functions. In fact, the new line of kitchen mixers is specifically designed to blend distinctively into this environment.

Gusto has been developed and designed with great attention to detail thanks to more than a century of research and innovation in the production of faucets, expertise that has allowed Ideal Standard to be a leader in the world of bathroom fittings. The new range of kitchen mixers, designed by Roberto Palomba, Chief Design Officer of Ideal Standard, is characterised by a striking, elegant, minimalist and contemporary aesthetic.

Gusto is a tribute to the kitchen of the senses, not only that of function but also that of conviviality. A collection with simple, elegant lines that, combined with the finishes, recall precious accents,” said Roberto Palomba. “Gusto portrays the world of the exclusive kitchen, a collection that adds an important detail in a room of the home that is so fundamental to our well-being and joy of living“.

Two main shapes are available: Gusto Round with its classic and elegant curved design, and Gusto Square with its bolder square profile. Both are offered in a variety of models with different functions: mixers with a high spout, with a pull-out spout or with a hand shower that can be activated by means of a button, which allows you to change the intensity of the jet, switching from a regular to a more concentrated flow of water.
Gusto also consists of other models: the two-hole mixer and the swivelling wall mixer.

The flagship of the series is the mixer with iMX technology, which ensures comfort, hygiene and convenience. In this model, a soap dispenser integrated in the mixer spout ensures that detergent is always at hand. With Gusto iMX, in fact, a simple press on a button at the end of the mixer is enough to dispense the necessary soap.

An important feature of the product is also the use of colour. The range is available in traditional chrome and PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition technology) finishes Silver Storm, Brushed Gold, Magnetic Grey and Sunset Rose. The five finishes not only allow you to find the ideal customisation for each kitchen, but thanks to the PVD processing, a superior metal surface, they guarantee a significantly more durable and resistant product.

Speaking about the line, Bert Depiere, Vice President of Ideal Standard International, said: “We are very excited about this launch. Gusto is an excellent example of what we can offer in the kitchen area, combining some of our most innovative technologies with the design expertise of Ludovica + Roberto Palomba. Reliable and practical, Gusto is a striking design proposition and the colour palette we have chosen for the product will add a touch of style to any kitchen”.
