evoBuild is the new global brand for low-carbon cements and concretes for the cities of the future from Heidelberg Materials, a world leader in building materials and solutions, which in Italy has taken over the legacy of the Italcementi and Calcestruzzi brands. The evoBuild range, available from 2025 throughout Italy and for all product lines, will reduce CO2 emissions by at least 30%.
Circular products contain at least 30 per cent recycled aggregates, or reduce the amount of natural materials by at least 30 per cent (which can be achieved with ultra-high-performance concretes or 3D-printed constructions). “At the heart of our actions is a strong concern for the environment. As pioneers on the road to carbon neutrality and the circular economy in the building materials industry” said Stefano Gallini, Managing Director of Heidelberg Materials Italia, “the company is working on sustainable building materials and solutions for the cities of the future.
evoBuild represents the concrete answer available to the market, our customers and designers. It is an important step towards achieving one of our fundamental goals on the road to Net zero; in fact, we aim to generate 50% of our revenues with sustainable products already by 2030”. The Heidelberg Materials Road Map envisages a progressive increase in the share of evoBuild products between now and 2030, guaranteeing the same quality, reliability and durability as always. To achieve these results, a series of virtuous paths in terms of sustainability have been developed
