The ABC Plus design studio has realised a small residential project near the shores of Lake Garda, dedicated to a lake-loving couple.
The project is developed parallel to the main line of sight and derives from a careful search for the best balance between plan and section, in order to optimise and make the experience of the house pleasant in all its rooms, with particular reference to the view and natural lighting.
The house, a contemporary reinterpretation of the typical rural house of this area, with a sloping pitched roof and porch, is built on two above-ground storeys, resting on a massive bare cement foundation, pigmented in paste with the reddish colour of the earth and an almost rough finish.
The basement portion houses accessory rooms and a living area, from which the garden is reached by a small staircase.
There is also a wellness area and a guest room.
The entire upper volume is conceived as a stone monoblock, excavated at precise points to create covered outdoor areas.
The large outdoor terrace houses the swimming pool, excavated in the basement volume.
The interiors propose the division between the ground floor, the main floor, and an annexe with separate access to the first floor.
The planimetric development allows views of the panorama from all the rooms.
The distribution gravitates around the custom-made furniture to meet the client’s needs.
