30th anniversary of the European Council of Interior Architects

This year, AIPI, the Italian Association of Interior Designers, will host the internationally important event of ECIA – European Council of Interior Architects on 23-24-25 September in Florence, which will take place in the splendid setting of Luca Giordano’s Sala degli Specchi in Palazzo Medici Riccardi.
The ECIA ’22 Event, through the General Assembly and Round Tables, will retrace the 30-year history of the European Association. This event will also be an opportunity to celebrate, with a gala evening, the 30th anniversary of the foundation of ECIA.
The main theme of these days will be the profession of Interior Designer, a profession made up of great skills, education, creativity, and which, today more than ever, has a strong cultural, economic, creative and social impact.

Voices from many countries will discuss the world of interior design and the interior architecture profession: Martin Thörnblom – President ECIA, Antonio D. De Antonis – President AIPI Associazione Italiana Interior Designers, Shashi Caan and Emrah Kaymak, respectively CEO and President IFI International Fed. Interior Architects (USA).
Also present were Professors Albert Fuster Martí – ELISAVA University Barcelona (ES), Graeme Brooker – Royal College of Art London (UK), and Dominic Haag-Walthert – HSLU University Lucern School of Art and Design (CH).
Speakers at the scheduled round tables will also include Matteo O. Ingaramo, President of POLI.design, and Francesco Scullica, Full Professor at Politecnico di Milano and Scientific Director of the Master in Interior Design at Politecnico di Milano, managed by POLI.design.

Confcommercio Professions will be joined by President Anna Rita Fioroni, who will give a testimony on the Federation’s activities for the associative professions.
