Houses that take on the appearance of “stones sculpted on the lake shore”, in full respect of the surrounding environment: the Archea residences of the Pohl Immobilien group are an example of the union between man and nature. The residential area is located in Laveno Mombello, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, on the site of a former industrial area, which has been completely rehabilitated through a reclamation project supported by Pohl Immobilien, a company from Alto Adige that develops and builds valuable sustainable real estate projects throughout Italy.
Twenty-six residential units, ranging from 50 to 130 square metres, in a completely car-free area: the car park is underground, the entire open area is pedestrianised. The homes have been built according to the most modern energy saving criteria, on an area of 2,400 square metres. The added value of the entire project is the architectural and landscape aspect, designed by Marco Casamonti, co-founder of the Archea Associati studio.
At a broad overview, the buildings are shaped like stones sculpted on the lake shore. Cut and shaped, they are embellished by the use of granite and blue ceramics. The chromatic aspect, in fact, is a tribute to the recent history of Laveno, a famous centre for the production of ceramics made in Italy, where the famous Laveno blue was produced.
Archea is one of the elements of Pohl Immobilien’s intervention and offer. By 2022, in fact, the next step will be completed: the homes designed by Danish architect Olav Langenkamp. This residence will feature living solutions with large panoramic loggias, covered terraces and aerial wooden walkways, all of which will make the most of the exclusive view of the lake and its islands with their precious gardens. Once again the environment will guide the project: the lake, mountains, nature and light can be experienced directly on the skin. Interiors and exteriors blend together to create a unique space.
