The story tells of blown glass, which has always been a distinctive feature of Prandina, a Veneto-based manufacturer of decorative lighting, and of designer Marco Alessi‘s desire to combine architecture and product design. It tells of an encounter in Fez, where passing through a door of coloured majolica one discovers a millenary soul of culture, knowledge and work. There are many details to tell in this new light story (#lightingstories) by Prandina: a story that develops from the outside to the inside, from a metal diffuser embellished with galvanic finishes to a blown crystal diffuser. A journey towards the soul of the product dictated by the search for light.
Fez is a collection with simple and sinuous lines, endowed at the same time with a strong identity and elegance. It is born from the relationship between two cylinders, one transparent, luminous and rigid, the other full, reflective and shaped to receive and distribute light. In this way the two cylinders, apparently opposed, come together. Fez is available in different materials and surface finishes that leave free room for interpretation of the interior. The materials, finishes and details that make the difference. Fez is a collection available in three versions: the pendant version, the table version and the floor version. Each version is available in two different sizes and four standard finishes. For more information, visit www.prandina.it.
